The end result manifests as a mobile application that guides users in selecting the ideal fish tank to cater to their specific pet, complemented by hardware that seamlessly automates and monitors crucial elements like heating, lighting, bio waste, and ammonia levels.
In this venture, a profound emphasis is placed on harnessing the power of AI in a conscientious manner to elevate the user's journey and enrich their experience in the realm of fishkeeping.
Problem - Many fish enthusiasts are left without sufficient guidance, potentially causing harm to their man-made environment and compromising the well-being of their aquatic companions.
Goal - Neptune's aim is to empower users like you to transform your fishkeeping journey. Through the integration of cutting-edge AI tools, our objective is to provide you with the expertise and resources required to nurture vibrant, environmentally-conscious aquariums.

User Research
In our user research, we conducted a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to gain insights into the needs, preferences, and behaviors of fishkeepers. Initially, we had assumptions about the primary pain points and challenges users face in maintaining aquariums, as well as their level of interest in adopting AI technology for fishkeeping.

However, after conducting research through interviews, surveys, and observation, our assumptions evolved. We discovered that while users do face common challenges such as water quality management and fish health, their interest in AI technology varied. Some expressed enthusiasm for AI-powered assistance, while others preferred a more hands-on approach. These insights guided us in refining our product's value proposition and tailoring features to meet the diverse needs of our user base.
